IIT GATE 2027: Dates shift, syllabus sharpens, and Robotics & Automation walks in.
Candidates do not “prepare for GATE” in the abstract—they prepare for a specific timetable and a specific exam architecture. IIT Madras has revised both, and it has also added a new Robotics and Automation paper that is split into common and specialization components.
This is not cosmetic change. The six-day schedule across forenoon and afternoon sessions reshapes planning, while the new paper’s Part A / Part B structure forces candidates to map fundamentals to electrical-mechanical depth. Adapt early or pay later.
